This is such an heartwarming story about two people who had broken past, Sophie and Carter. They turned to each other in comfort and they mended each other's past. Sophie and Carter are neighbours so they knew what's going on behind their houses. In Carter's world was his father abuse and his mother who had gone crazy because of her husband abuse.
In Sophie's world was her dirty, prostitute mom who worked like that to earn a living, she was not taken care of her mother properly and the crazy boyfriends she had. Not to mention, her mother 3 younger half siblings for her to be taken care of and great responsibilities.
Together they embark on a journey of healing and love.
It's very sad and sweet. I loved the characters, I just wished it had been longer so I can get to know them better.
